Christine is a native of New York State, having grown up in the eclectic town of Woodstock. She has resided in the Captial District since 1993.

Ms. Cimmino accomplished her voice over training under the instruction of John Gallogly and David Bourgeois of the Creative Voice Development Group in Schenectady, NY.

January 2018: Sand Lake Center for the Arts Short Play Festival - “Marjorie” in “A Cold Day in Hell” written by Michael Mensching and directed by Jerred Hickey.

May/June 2013: Cast member (White Chorus), Our Own Productions, 'Periphery' a Docudrama written by Ed Simpson, directed by Doreen Watson. This production won a TANYS (Theatre Association of New York State) award for Excellence in Ensemble Work for Cast and Crew. This designation is for theatrical skill base not routinely noted in non-professional theater.

September 2011: Cast member (Ethel Monick), Circle Theater Players, 'The Triangle Factory Fire Project' written by Christopher Piehler and Scott Alan Evans, directed by Deborah Dorman

May 2010: Production Assistant to director in Our Own Productions (OOPs) production of 'Arsenic & Old Lace'

June 2009: Portrayed the preacher's wife, Sadie Blessing, in Footlighers production of 'Taming the Wild, Wild West in a Dress' written by Billy St. John and directed by Colleen Gallant.

September 2008: Co-starred in her first theater production, 'Marge & Melvin' (Guess who she played?!) with Confetti Stage in Albany, NY. The play was written by Katherine Ambrosio and directed by Tracy Blowers.

Current Employment:

Christine works part-time at Albany Medical Center in the College's Patient Safety and Clinical Competency Center as a 'Standardized Patient'. Please check out our website at www.amc.edu/Academic/PSCCC/standardized_patients.cfm

Volunteer Work:

Christine currently volunteers for the Capital Region's public broadcasting station, WMHT as a reader for the Radio Information Service Program (RISE). This is a 24 hour closed-circuit radio information service for people who cannot read due to blindness, or other disabilities. Christine reads the local newspaper live on-air. She also is a volunteer 'bell ringer' during the holiday season for the Salvation Army.


Education:

Christine earned her B.S. degree in Accounting from the SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica/Rome, NY. Christine also studied Journalism and Broadcasting in college.

Everything Else!:

Christine's youngest child recently graduated from high school and her oldest is a student at Binghamton University. In her former life (pre kids), she was a tax auditor for the New York State Department of Tax and Finance. In this position Christine had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada. Christine also taught training classes to her peers at the Department.

Her hobbies include reading, gardening, traveling, burn boot camp and learning to play piano!
